Schools’ Taster Conference – Friday 29 June, 10.00-3.30pm

Our annual Schools' Taster Conference taking place at Leicester on Friday 29 June features thought-provoking and engaging academic taster sessions across all of our undergraduate departments, an information fair for students to quiz our academics plus CPD sessions for teachers.

The Conference is aimed at those looking to start university in 2019 but younger students are welcome if they’re up for a challenge! You can reserve your school’s place (there’s no cap on numbers!) and/or students can register individual places for the event.

Medicine Calling – Saturday 8 September, all day

Medicine Calling is a fantastic event for those that are interested in either studying medicine or psychology at university, as this event is all about psychiatry!

This conference, attended by more than 200 students last year, is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn more about psychiatry and the varied, exciting, rewarding and challenging career it offers, as well as a chance to attend interactive workshops, and a chance to find out about how to apply to medicine.

If any of your students would like to attend, they’ll need to email for an application form.

Brain Awareness Day - Wednesday 26 September, 10.30am - 3.30pm

Open to anyone with an interest in studying psychology and neuroscience, including biology, medicine, genetics, physiology, pharmacology and health sciences. The day includes presentations, campus tours, live demonstrations and the opportunity to meet students and experts.
